Some tools have changed little in the past four centuries. This beat-up
bowl from a metal spoon, though found at San Gabriel, could just as
easily be from a city landfill of a few decades ago. The overall shape
is not obvious from the first image, but a different view (shown below)
makes it clear how similar the spoon bowl is to modern ones.
